The Advisory Board for metropolitan transparency is a metropolitan transparency body that is not paid, made up of experts appointed based on their personal merits and professional career.

The Advisory Board for metropolitan transparency is responsible for holding debates, putting forward non-binding proposals and criteria relating to the activity assigned to the Transparency Agency in terms of implementation of Law 19/2014 on transparency, access to public information and good governance, as well as encouraging and fostering revised indicators of compliance with the Law.
