Integrity and good governance

The Transparency Law defines good governance as "the principles, obligations and rules on the quality of services and the functioning of the Administration, and the ethical principles and good practices in accordance with which the senior government officials, managers and other staff in the administration must act, in order for it to operate with the utmost transparency, quality and equity, and with a guarantee of accountability". In order to consolidate good governance, measures to promote public integrity and prevent corruption are essential to guarantee the prevalence of the general interest, impartiality, equal treatment and diligence in the fulfilment of obligations and the provision of public services.
